Cortland’s Crown series mid-arbor disc drag fly reel is machined from aircraft grade aluminum and hard anodized for corrosion resistance. The Crown Series fly reels incorporate a light-weight design while providing structural strength and durability. The center disc drag features a wide range of adjustment with low start up inertia for increased line protection. The counter weighted mid-arbor spool allows for increased line capacity and incorporates a locking knob for a tight tolerance.

Cortland's Gel Spun backing is made from super-high-strength gel-spun fibers, braided to exact specifications. The tight, round braid allows you to pack a lot of backing onto small spools. Available in hi-vis yellow, pink, blue, and white, in 30-lb., 50-lb., and 80-lb. test on 300 yard spools.
